🤝The Playtronica community
Where to find other Playtronica makers — and where to ask for help first.
The Playtronica community is the first place to ask for help. Other users have hit your problem before, and the answers stay searchable for the next person.
Where to go
facebook.com/groups/playtronica — public group, 4400 members active across 40+ countries. The Playtronica Friends community on Facebook.
Best for: finding past answers, posting a new question that anyone can find later, sharing what you made, asking about creative use and installations.
ℹ️ We are looking for a better long-term home for the community. Facebook works for now, but if you have suggestions for a better platform, email support@playtronica.com with the subject
Community suggestion.
How to ask a good question
The same advice works for any channel.
- Search first. In the Facebook group, click the magnifying glass and try terms like
playtron mobile no sound, all leds lit, touchme biotron no sound, koala sampler midi. - Add a
[Device]prefix to your post title. Example:[Biotron] Same notes repeat without touching the plant. - In the post body, include:
- Which device — TouchMe, Playtron, Biotron, Orbita, or Scales.
- Your operating system — macOS, Windows, iOS, Android, or a hardware synth.
- The app you are using — synth.playtronica.com, Ableton, Logic, GarageBand, FL Studio, Koala, Dawnbeat, or another.
- What you have already tried.
- What is happening. A short video or photo helps a lot.
A clear question gets faster answers. A vague question rarely gets answered at all.
When to email support instead
The community is great for many things but it cannot help with these. Email support@playtronica.com for:
- Order tracking, missing items, or shipping questions.
- Returns and refunds.
- Invoice and VAT requests.
- Warranty claims and broken devices.
- Anything that needs your order number or your shipping address.
For business and bulk orders, use collaboration@playtronica.com.
The Playtronica team aims to reply to email within 1 business day. Allow up to 3 business days at busy times.
How the community works
The community is run by the Playtronica team in Berlin and Paris. The admin is Andrey. The community manager checks the group several times a day and seeds firmware updates, new device announcements, and FAQ posts. Other members answer help questions — that is what makes the community a community.
The group has three rules:
- Share your wonderful creations.
- The group is not for solving delivery issues.
- Be kind and courteous.
The first one is the most important. Post what you make. Other people will be inspired.
