What Playtronica sells beyond the devices — and when each accessory is useful.
Playtronica sells a small set of accessories that extend what the devices can do. Every accessory is optional — none are required to play. This page tells you when each one matters.

Adapters
USB-A to USB-C adapter (Android, older Mac)
If your computer has USB-A ports and your Playtronica device uses USB-C, you need this. Many Android phones with USB-C also need it for the other direction.
USB Adapter — 2-in-1 Micro-USB and USB-C — combo, covers both port types.
iPhone Lightning adapter
iPhones with a Lightning port (iPhone 14 and earlier) need this to plug a USB-C Playtronica device into the phone.
iPhone 15 and newer have USB-C and do not need this — use a standard USB-C to USB-A adapter or a USB-C cable directly.
Conductive materials
These let you build custom playable surfaces with Playtron and TouchMe.
Copper tape
8 mm wide, 10 m long. Adhesive on one side, fully conductive. Stick it onto paper, cardboard, wood, walls, or 3D prints. Each strip of tape becomes a Playtron-clippable surface or a TouchMe-touchable shape.
Conductive fabric tape
Bendable, soft, adhesive. Works on textiles, garments, and sculpture surfaces. Ships in the Accessory Kit.
Patches for skin and plants
Stick-on conductive patches with an alligator-clip attachment point. Use them to make a more comfortable skin contact than bare alligator-clip teeth, or to attach Biotron's leaf-pads to a leaf that does not have a good clip surface.
10 extra alligator clips
Each Playtron ships with 8 alligator-clip cables. The 10-pack gives you 18 in total — enough to use all 16 alligator-clip pins on Playtron at the same time, with two spares.

Wearables
Playtronica Scarf
A scarf with conductive thread woven in. Wear it, touch it with a Playtron-clipped wire, the scarf plays. Equal parts garment and instrument.
