1-year warranty, the repair flow, and what is covered.


Every Playtronica device has a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects, starting from the delivery date.

What is covered

  • The device stops functioning without physical damage or misuse.
  • LED failure not caused by impact.
  • USB port failure not caused by force or incorrect use.
  • Component failure under normal use.

What is not covered

  • Physical damage from dropping or impact.
  • Liquid damage. Biotron used with plants is an exception — that is expected use.
  • Pin or component corrosion from improper storage, or from heavy use with acidic objects like citrus fruit.
  • Damage from an incorrect power supply or incorrect voltage.

How to make a warranty claim

  1. Email support@playtronica.com with the subject Warranty #[order number]. Describe the issue.
  2. Attach a short video or photos of the problem. This helps us diagnose the fault. In most cases you will not need to ship the device back.
  3. We reply within 3 business days with one of three outcomes: remote-fix instructions, a replacement part, or a full device replacement.

Out-of-warranty repairs

The device is more than a year old, or the damage is not covered by warranty. We still want to help. Email support@playtronica.com with the subject Out-of-warranty repair #[order number]. In many cases we can offer repair guidance, spare parts, or a discounted replacement.
